Postcards from the PCT

A compiled work of watercolor sketches sent across the world to friends during my hike on the PCT

During my thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail in 2023, I created a series of postcards and accompanying poems which I mailed to friends across the world. As I was continuously mailing my finished works away and lightening the load of my pack, the art was telling a living story, just one that was momentarily fragmented. The art and poems were personal, and it brings me joy that they still live in the homes of the friends that support me on my hiking endeavours, but looking at the complete picture tells a story of place and my personal experience during the five months I walked from Mexico to Canada.
